Flicker Risk

What it is: A comprehensive safety grade based on IEEE 1789 standards.

What it means: It combines flicker percentage and frequency to determine if the light is likely to cause biological effects like headaches or eye strain.

Ranges: No Risk is the gold standard; Low Risk is safe for most; High Risk should be avoided.

What it is: Measures the "depth" of the light's modulation (intensity variation).

Flicker Index

What it is: A measure of the waveform shape and duty cycle (the "on" vs "off" time).

What it means: accounts for light output uniformity. A lower index means a more consistent light output.
