Our favorite sleep position is zero gravity, but you need an adjustable bed base to sleep this way, and choosing which one to buy can be overwhelming!
So we’ve sorted through all of the options and chosen the best ones for you to pick out!
Things to Consider When Buying an Adjustable Bed Base
When considering a zero-gravity bed base, here are some things to keep in mind:
You may wish to make the bed flat sometimes for non-sleep-related activities, and it can be a pain to manually put everything back in that perfect spot you spent weeks finding.
Pricier bed bases can include a memory function, which might be worth paying for.
Alternatively, you can simply measure from the floor to the mattress and write it down. This way, you can always find your way back to that perfect spot.
While it’ll cost more upfront for two separate bases, this will allow both you and your partner to find your own sweet spot. This will also limit motion transfer disturbances, which is a nice bonus.
Slanted Leg Section
Some bed bases have slanted leg sections and some have flat ones. I’d recommend the ones with slants, as these tend to be a bit more comfortable since they achieve a more neutral position.
Mattress Selection Matters
Not all mattresses play nice with adjustable bed bases!
Memory foam and spring mattresses are often either too light or too rigid to form with the curvature of the bed base.
Latex is our preferred bed material for use with adjustable bed bases for this reason, it’s heavy and mailable so it forms very well to whatever position you set the bed to.

Best Adjustable Bed Bases
The best bed base in our opinion is the most affordable option with a memory feature.
For now, that’s this one!

However, if you want to pay as little as possible and forego the memory slot, you can get away with spending a bit less on something more budget-friendly.
